Who are we?
KitaConnect: Iwate AJET is a group dedicated to the socialization and networking of foreign ALTs in Iwate Prefecture. Although orginally created under the auspices of the JET Programme, KitaConnect reaches out to all ALTs working in Iwate regardless of employer differences. Through communication forums such as the mailing list Iwate Minions, KitaConnect provides support and information relevent to the foreign community.
Where are we?
We can be found in all corners of Iwate and with our Senpai system, we reach a town close to you.

What do we do?
Various events are held throughout the prefecture over the course of the year, providing opportunities for ALTs to come together, have fun, and make friends. KitaConnect also makes efforts to involve the Iwate ALT community in charitable activities. Profits from the events held are directed towards humantiarian activism in Japan and the world. By keeping ALTs connected to each other and the world around them, KitaConnect works to make the Iwate experience a worthwhile one for all! KitaConnect: Connecting kotatsus all over Iwate!
